ODE to the FANNY PACK

Although Taunie destroyed all spectacular evidence of the fanny pack. We have Taunie the Fanny pack sportin mom. Yes its true its 2007 and Taunie still wears a Fanny pack while on vacation I had a great picture of it and Taunie erased it so in the future i will do a drawing from my memory of the fanny pack. Even though the fanny pack was extremley 1980's she did haul around all of our junk in it. Thats Awesome!

Our Vacation!!!!

This past week we went to San Diego for some much needed fun in the sun!!! We left on Friday around 8 and drove threw the night. We got there at about 7 the next morning and from there we were off to Sea world. Ian had never been so it was fun. The next day we took the trolley down to Tijuana for some shopping. They had knock off purses galore and I was in Heaven. Monday which was my birthday we took a trip to oceanside beach and then went to celebrate my birthday @ Joe's Crab Shack.......Yummy!!!!! Tuesday was Disneyland day!!! It was hot and crowded but we made it through. Wednesday we hung out at the resort and went swimming all day. That night we headed down to Sea Port village to watch the fire works over the ocean. Thursday we packed it up and drove down to the ocean front town of Ensenada, Mexico. We spent the day there shopping and eating and just chillin with the natives. Both my brothers and Ian speak Spanish so they had alot of fun. That evening we drove to a blow hole that was about 20 miles from town. It was a fun little area with lots of purses and yummy churros. Friday we hung out at the resort again and then went to a Padres game that evening. They lost but it was still fun. The funnest part of the trip was the drive home on Saturday.(JK) We stopped in Mesquite so I could gamble a whole dollar and then get bored. When we got about 50 miles away from Beaver we got an awesome suprise that I15 had been closed. We sat on I15 for about an hour and a half in stand still traffic and then took a 5 hour detour through the armpit of Utah. I swear I think we saw every county in the state. We finally made it home at about 11:30 PM. Needless to say we were all a little grumpy because our 10 hour drive had turned into about a 17 hour drive. We were excited to get home and see Lilly but not as excited to get back to work. Thanks to everyone for helping out with Lilly and a big thanks to my parents for our fun vacation we loved it. Now, where should we go next?????????????

My fabulous husband!

Soooooo I'm gonna be a little sappy here but honestly I have the best husband in the entire world. Not only is he a great supporter and a hard worker but he always puts me first. For instance.....for Ian's birthday he bought ME a new car. Also anytime we go anywhere all I have to do is express interest in something and then ten minutes later he suprises me with it. He never buys anything for himself but doesn't have a problem buying me whatever my little heart desires. He is the most caring person in the entire world and would do anything to make my life easier. He also is the most handy guy in the entire world. You wouldn't believe the money we save because he can fix anything himself. Ian and I spend every second possible together and really enjoy doing everything as a pair(or a threesome because Lilly is with us alot). Ian is great with kids and will someday be a great dad! Hands down I am the luckiest girl in the world to have him and would not be the person I am today without him. I love you Nonnie! (thanks Mike and Beth for raising such a great son)

My Birthday!!!!!

Well I finally turned 21 on Monday!!! I told everyone all I wanted for my birthday was money to go on some shopping sprees......and boy did I get it. I am gonna be one stylin vixen once I get a few seconds to go shopping. We spent my birthday at the beach and then went to Joe's to get crab that night.....YUMMY my favorite. Overall I was spoiled all week long and basically had a week long birthday. I think Ian was gettin a little jealous because he kept telling everyone it was his 26 and 4 month birthday. But hey he always gets week long birthdays so I should get the same. I am waiting to get some pictures downloaded but when I do I will tell you all about our vacation.
