The Sunday night football game of the Colts vs. Cards was amazing. We traveled down and stayed with our friends Jeffrey and Alisha. We enjoyed all the activities that Jeff had planned for us and then sunday came. We went to the space ship known as University of Phoenix stadium for the game. We scored sixth row tickets in the end zone off a scalper and endulged in the beat down the Colts gave the Cards. We enjoyed the game and are so thankful to Jeff and Alisha for hosting us.

Camping.......

Okay Folks.....lets not have anyone die of shock but here is an update. Ian and I along with my brothers and some good friends of ours headed up to Murdock Basin. This made the head count 5 guys and me. We have had this trip planned forever so it was nice to finally make it happen. We arrived Friday evening and got to work setting up camp and making dinner. Saturday was filled with four wheeling, fishing, tin foil dinners, peach cobbler and an intense game of B.S. Sunday we woke up to a rain storm so we headed home early. All in all it was a great trip. Hopefully the weather holds out for a month so we can fit in another trip.
Things to come this year........
Cardinals and Colt's game in AZ
Trip to the dunes
Mexico in November
I promise I will do my best to blog about these.

Introducing........
Okay so I have been the biggest slacker in America lately. This has not been for lack of exciting events to blog about, just pure laziness. So today I am going to use two very tiny but worthwhile causes to wake the blog up again.

Introducing our new niece Liv. She might just be the sweetest thing I have ever met. This is Ian's brother Ty and his wife Holly's first little one. We love her.

Arriving a little over a month later is Jace Blair. This is Ian's brother Micah and his wife Lisa's fourth baby, but the first boy in the family to carry on the family name. He surprised us all by arriving a few weeks early. He is adorable and it is fun to see what their little boy looks like after seeing three girls.
These cute babies are making me want one of my own. Ian dreads when family and friends have new babies because I then go on a baby rampage. He says that it is all I talk about for months.
I guess I will just have to kiss these tiny faces a million times so I can get my baby fix. Congrats Guys! My apologies if I am sort of a baby stocker.

Happy 28th Birthday Ian!!!!

Ian's much anticipated birthday is finally upon us. Ian is the only person I know who makes a bigger deal out of their birthday than I do. This weekend we went to St. George with the Helm's so Ian could ride his four wheeler. This is the perfect birthday weekend for Ian. I am extremely lucky to have such a sweet husband. Ian is probably the only person I know that honestly can make friends everywhere we go. He is an extremely hard worker that would do anything for his family. I find myself excited every night when I get home from work because I get to see him. I would think that after three years of marriage this excitement would fade, but it just seems to get stronger. I feel like I am the luckiest wife in the world to have such a caring husband. Anyone who knows Ian would say that he is a character. I would have to say that is one of the qualities that I love about him the most. Ian is the biggest blessing in my life and I am so lucky to have him. I love you Nons and I hope your birthday lives up to your expectations.

New Years Eve 2008!!!!!

I have made a few resolutions for 2009 and here they are:
-Continue to go to my spinning classes twice a week
-Get to my goal weight
-run a 5k
-clean out every closet in my house
-pay off my car
-spend more time reading and less watching TV
-replace a few things in my house that continue to annoy me
-plan a little more seriously for starting a family
-stick to our budget with no slip ups
I plan on accomplishing everyone of these things.
Every year my family goes to The Grub Steak in Park City for New Years Eve. The food is awesome and we always look forward to it. These are a few pictures from that night.

Hmmmmm.........BCS more like BSC

I have decided to come out of blogging hibernation for a minute for a good cause. That cause being one of my true passions, Utah Football. As I watched my beloved Utes stomp all over the Crimson Tide I couldn't help but wonder," Why is the BCS such a crock"? Mountain West Schools continue to prove themselves, and continue to get the shaft. I will not accept any Utah retaliation comments on this post. If you honestly still think BYU was a better team this year, you have bigger problems than I can comprehend. Aside from that Utah and BYU fans should unite for this purpose. Because if it would have been the Cougs at the Sugar Bowl, they would have gotten screwed over as well. My friend Erin sent me this article. It very accurately describes my frustrations. Well folks, back into hibernation.
